October Half Term Activities in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas 2019

30th and 31st October, 1-4pm - Half-term fun: Gunpowder Plot
Learning Studio
Find out about the gunpowder plot, create your own Guy Fawkes Lantern and firework inspired art.

Blenheim Palace
26th October -  3rd November - Half Term Halloween Entertainment

Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
Halloween Fun with Cha Char Chimps
27th and 30th October, and 3rd November 
The centre opens at 10.30am and Cha Char Chimps will be holding two 60minute sessions of fun, games, singing and dancing at 11.30am and 1pm.

Halloween Disco and Spooky Night Train
30th October
6-8pm Family Halloween disco
6-7pm Ride the Spooky Night Train
There will be a Fancy Dress competition, and hot dogs and soup will be available to purchase from the cafe.

26th October - 3rd November, 10am-4.30pm - The Witch’s House 
Cost included in day ticket
Over half term a friendly witch will transform the rooms into a spooky trail of lights, potions, pumpkins and more.

Find all the pumpkins hidden around the mill.

On Wednesday 30th October pumpkin carving will also be available at £5 per child including pumpkin and buttery operated tea light candle.

Explore the zoo via torch light. Places are limited so book tickets in advance here. Fancy dress is optional, but bring your own torch.

£3.50 per trail pack.
